ZEUS - God of Fuel Consumption

Scrapbook

Ah, there is nothing like a day out on the water in the Pacific Northwest - except maybe standing in a cold shower tearing up twenty-dollar bills. So after much looking and humming and hawing we finally jumped in. So, it took over a year. So, Rudy kept finding things wrong with every boat until he found a boat from the same yard as his last boat. Boating takes your mind off things - at least makes your forget how much money you are spending on it. It is the marine way. Ten dollars for 50 cents worth of plastic and a dollar's worth of packaging. Perhaps boating takes us comfortably back to the brine from whence we came. Perhaps it is a way to punish ourselves for being successful enough to be able to afford it. It doesn't matter. It is all about the gentle lapping of the waves against the hull at that special moonlit anchorage. And the endless cycling of the water pump that still needs to be fixed...

Here is what we got -
